Modified plastic industry output in 2022!

After years of rapid development in the modified plastics industry, both output and market size are on the rise. From 2016 to 2020, the output of modified plastics increased from 15.63 million tons to 22.5 million tons, with a compound annual growth rate of 9.54%.

In 2022, the output of modified plastics will reach 28.84 million tons. Despite the rapid development of the domestic plastics industry, the scale of plastics application is still small. The rate of plastic modification (that is, the proportion of modified plastic output in total plastic output) has grown steadily. The global plastic modification rate is nearly 50%, and the plastic modification rate has increased from 16.3% in 2011 to 21.7% in 2020.
